New Beginnings

Finding Grace in Gentleness

My journey toward becoming a professional childbirth doula began with my first time being in a delivery room in 2019. After the birth of my own baby in 2021, I felt a true calling to support other women in their journeys bringing their babies into the world. Based in Meridian, I provide women in the Treasure Valley with the physical and emotional support they need in order to have a positive birthing experience. I also prioritize empowering women and their other support people (whether that's a partner, mom, spouse, aunt, best friend, cousin, etc.) to advocate for themselves and their desires during labor, delivery, and the early postpartum period.

In October of 2022, I expanded my business to include postpartum support for the families of the Treasure Valley. Whether your family is growing through childbirth, foster care, or adoption, adding a new baby to the family is a major transition filled with unique challenges for every family and their challenges. Living overseas as a military spouse has provided me with a unique perspective on just how important having a strong support system is. Every family has different values and priorities when it comes to parenting and infant feeding. This is why I will not ever tell you how you should parent or provide nutrition for your children. Rather, I help you explore and clarify your values so that you are empowered to make these decisions.

With Gentle Grace Doula Services, you will feel heard, supported, and respected, no matter what kind of birth and postpartum experience you are hoping for, from a home birth with midwives to an elective cesarean; from exclusive formula feeding to exclusive breastfeeding, and everything in between. It is my honor and privilege to serve the families of the Boise area during this transformative time. Get in touch today to book your free consultation!
